Job Description UNION COUNTY SCHOOLS JOB DESCRIPTION SCHOOL NUTRITION ASSISTANT MANAGER, FLSA STATUS - NON-EXEMPT 9-MONTH GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB Assist the Cafeteria Manager by performing some managerial tasks and by taking charge in absence of manager. SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS Reports to the Cafeteria Manager, School Nutrition Supervisor, School Nutrition Assistant Director and School Nutrition Director. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provide leadership to subordinates through instruction and demonstration. Direct the day to day activities in the absence of the manager. Fill in for managers or employees at other schools when necessary. Work with administration and staff for special events and catering. Assist in food preparation and cafeteria maintenance.
