Job Description TITLE: Lead Lunch and Recess Coordinator - Longfellow Elementary POSITION OVERVIEW: The Lead Recess Coordinator would take the lead in overseeing both K-2 and 3-5 lunch duty and K-2 and 3-5 recess supervision. While the Assistant Principal and Principal would be available for support and consultation, the Lead Lunch and Recess Coordinator would manage the following: Arrive at 10:00 to prepare supplies and materials for smooth recess and transition of cafeteria (which is a gym and cafe), allowing for any subs or additional adults to be placed on duty depending on daily attendance Check in with Principal and Assistant Principal around any areas of concern or follow-ups from the day before Support transition of students from class to lunch to recess and back to class Serve as lead around communication of procedures and processes on cafe and playground (e.g. lining up, eating lunch, cleaning up, transition, being safe, etc) Supervise safety of cafe and...
