Job Description Job Title: Dean of Students - 210 Day Location: School Based Pay Grade: Teacher Salary Scale Work Calendar: 210 Day Licensed FLSA Status: Exempt GENERAL PURPOSE Under the supervision of the School Principal, the Dean of Students is designed to prepare aspiring building administrators for future leadership positions, with the expectation that no individual holds the position for more than two consecutive years. The position provides additional supervisory support to the School Principal and Assistant Principal to ensure staff and students receive the support necessary to succeed that may include, but are not limited to, observing and providing feedback to teachers, participating in and supporting PLCs, contributing to the design and monitoring of the School Improvement Plan, responding to student conduct issues, overseeing use of facilities and materials, and monitoring compliance with safety protocols.
