Job Description Summary: The Specialized Programs Coordinator is responsible for the coordination/training/support of our specialized programs designed to address the needs of students with significant disabilities who are educated within and/or outside of the general education classroom. The Specialized Programs Coordinator will advise school and special education leadership about special education programs to ensure that the needs of all students are being met. The Specialized Programs Coordinator will focus on helping children with disabilities to maximize their learning in an inclusive setting and starting innovative new school programs aimed towards the implementation of specialized supports. Job Description Qualifications: Hold a Postgraduate Professional teaching license with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision PreK-12, or have fulfilled all coursework and testing requirements for such endorsement. Three to five years of teaching experience; teaching experience at the elementary level preferred Leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with all categories of employees and the public.
