Job Description The College and Career Counselor is responsible for implementing and coordinating a comprehensive college, career, and postsecondary planning program that supports all students in preparing for successful transitions after high school. The counselor provides individualized guidance related to college admissions, career exploration, workforce readiness, financial aid, military options, and postsecondary planning. The position also coordinates career development opportunities for Career and Technical Education (CTE) students, including cooperative education (co-op) placements, employer partnerships, workplace readiness preparation, and ongoing monitoring of student work-based learning experiences. Additionally, the counselor oversees the administration of college readiness assessments, including the PSAT and Advanced Placement (AP) testing programs.
