Job Description ***This school has been designated underperforming or chronically underperforming (formerly Level 4 or 5) by the State of Massachusetts. *** Position Overview: The Director of Multilingual Learners (ML) will assist the leadership of the school in leading, developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive ML programs for students from grade 9-12. This role is critical in ensuring equitable educational opportunities, academic success, and cultural integration for Multilingual Language Learners. The Director will improve the quality of instruction for all Multilingual Language Learners, assist in the professional development activities for both regular, special education and ESL staff, and contribute to the overall culture of the school as an agent of change committed to progressive educational reform and meeting the needs of all students in a rigorous academic environment.
