Job Description POSITION: Beginning Teacher Support Coordinator (2 positions) LOCATION: Centrally-Based PAY: Administrator Salary Schedule TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months REPORTS TO: Executive Director for Beginning Teacher Induction JOB GOAL: Support beginning teachers who are required to participate in a three-year induction period with a formal orientation, mentor support, and additional observations and evaluation prior to the recommendation for continuing licensure. Position also coordinates support for beginning teachers through administrators, lead mentors, mentors, coaches and specialists. QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES: Masters degree in education and/or proven record of excellence as a classroom teacher for a minimum of five years.
