Job Description Position Title: Superintendent of Schools Immediate Supervisor: Board of Education Summary: Be in all respects, the chief executive officer of the District except as otherwise provided by law. He or she shall have the power to make rules not in conflict with law or with the policies of the Board and decide all matters of administrative and supervisory detail in connection with the operation and maintenance of the schools. Shall provide visionary leadership in the general administration of the school district, specifically in the areas of finance, personnel, and educational programs and services.
