Job Description Hours: Approximately 1 hour a day, 8:20 a.m.- 8:50 a.m. and 3:15 - 3:45 p.m., student days. Summary: Guide or control safely, vehicular or pedestrian traffic at such places as streets, schools and parking lots. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Direct vehicle traffic to keep drop off traffic moving. Monitor traffic flow to locate safe gaps through which pedestrians can safely cross streets/parking lots. Monitor access or flow of people to prevent unsafe situations. Direct or escort pedestrians across streets, stopping traffic. Warn individuals about rule violations or safety concerns. Communicate traffic and crossing rules and other information to students and adults. Enforce safety rules and appropriate behavior standards Report unsafe and inappropriate behavior of students to building principal.
