Job Description POSITION PURPOSE The Automotive Technology Instructor will develop curriculum and provide instruction for the Technology Center Career & Technical Education (CTE) automotive classes. The class provides exploratory experiences in automotive maintenance & light repair and helps students become successful employees or business owners. The class emphasizes safety, procedures, equipment and tool use while preparing students to take the ASE Maintenance & Light Repair exam for certification. Both first- and second-year students can earn direct college credit. This position reports directly to the Director of the Technology Center with direction from the District Coordinator of Career and Technology Education. Job Description Purpose: School Nurses are needed for the various summer programs across the county at specific school sites. Description: Assists school health committee and administrators in developing the school health program. Participates in work of health curriculum committee. Performs state recommended screenings on appropriate groups of students and makes necessary referrals. Observes students on a regular basis to detect health needs. Informs teachers and staff on screening students for health defects. Maintains up-to-date cumulative health records on all students. Reports to parents, school personnel, physicians, clinics and other agencies on student health matters as requested by the superintendent, district staff and principals.
