Job Description The Building Trades program at St. Johnsbury Academy aims to expose students to the wide range of skills and experience applicable to construction projects including carpentry, architecture and design, aspects of other trades (heating and plumbing, HVAC, electricity), and business management. The integrated building trades instructor will demonstrate - through hands-on training and classroom instruction - proper technique, safety and detail which are essential skills of successful professionals in building trades and technology. The Building Trades Instructor will teach high school students through class demonstrations, lecture, audio visual aids hands-on and job site training.
