Job Description Next Step Peer Mentors The Next Step program of the Vernon Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a summer position to serve as a mentor for our program participants. Job responsibilities include the provision of job site support, coaching and supervision during this four week summer program. The Next Step program is designed to provide participants with job skills, training, and job exploration opportunities in various job settings within the greater Rockville community. This Monday - Thursday program offers mentoring employees the opportunity to earn minimum wage with transportation provided to and from the job sites. The hours of operation will be 8:15 am - 1:45 pm beginning on June 29 and ending on July 23 for a total of 16 work days. The compensation for this position is minimum wage $16.94/hour.
