Job Description Description: General Music and Band Teacher for grades 3 - 6 Job Summary: Teach students the importance of music education, incorporation of technology, cultural relevance/differences, instrumental Lessons, band, drama, etc. Qualifications: CT Certification in Music K-12 or DSAP eligible Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work with the unified arts team Discern student performance data Ability to participate in the SRBI process Effectively plan and deliver engaging/hands-on lessons Assess student learning Effectively and proactively communicate student progress toward goals Ability to demonstrate vocally Interest/experience in band/instrument development Interest in Drama Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students in the school environment and community Maintains a cooperative working relationship with the Principal, supervising teacher, students, parents, staff, and the public....
