Job Description Title Code: Assistant: Decision Making Room JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the delivery of intervention strategies, protocols, social skills instruction and techniques for students exhibiting a variety of disruptive, challenging, and/or aggressive behavior in secondary schools who are referred to the Decision Making Rooms (DMR). The nature of the work involves implementing and using behavioral intervention techniques to de-escalate, monitor, and control disruptive behaviors, utilizing behavior management techniques, and to teach social skills replacement behaviors in order to enable students to perform successfully in school. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Works directly with students in small groups and individually to implement instructional programs, plans and activities for students who are disruptive to the educational environment.
