Job Description GENERAL DEFINITION AND CONDITIONS OF WORK Under the direction of the CTEC principal, plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students. Provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student. Supervise students in a variety of school related settings. Plan instruction, monitor and evaluate student outcomes. Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff and the community. Ensure that students learn the practical skills to work in Building Trades with an emphasis on the HVAC & R field and that they safely and effectively operate equipment and tools used in this career. This program emphasizes safety, procedures, equipment and tool use while preparing students to take the OSHA 10 Safety credential and National Center for Construction Education and Research Core Curriculum (NCCER) certifications.
