Job Description POSITION PURPOSE The Automotive Technology Instructor will develop curriculum and provide instruction for the Technology Center Career & Technical Education (CTE) automotive classes. The class provides exploratory experiences in automotive maintenance & light repair and helps students become successful employees or business owners. The class emphasizes safety, procedures, equipment and tool use while preparing students to take the ASE Maintenance & Light Repair exam for certification. Both first- and second-year students can earn direct college credit. This position reports directly to the Director of the Technology Center with direction from the District Coordinator of Career and Technology Education. Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: The elementary school music teacher teaches general music classes to children ranging in age from kindergarten through fifth grade. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Teaches general music including harmony, appreciation, history, and ensemble. Utilizes repertoire of all types of music literature, including traditional and contemporary that are appropriate for the ages and skill levels of students. Provides opportunities for music ensembles including rock band, choir & musicals. Plans, rehearses, and directs students in three musical programs for school and community. Differentiate music curriculum to meet the needs of the individual student and the student body.
