Job Description The Amherst Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Program Administrator to provide strong, on-site leadership for two of our district specialized programs, AIMS and Building Blocks and in tandem with building administration, provide support to special education services and staff across the wider school building community. AIMS and Building Blocks inclusion based programs support students with one or more of the following: autism (level 1 & 2), attention/focus, academic, social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges and who require programmatic support throughout the school day. Job Description Next Step Peer Mentors The Next Step program of the Vernon Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a summer position to serve as a mentor for our program participants. Job responsibilities include the provision of job site support, coaching and supervision during this four week summer program. The Next Step program is designed to provide participants with job skills, training, and job exploration opportunities in various job settings within the greater Rockville community. This Monday - Thursday program offers mentoring employees the opportunity to earn minimum wage with transportation provided to and from the job sites.
