Job Description Literacy Interventionist DESCRIPTION: The Literacy Interventionist is a master phonics, fluency and reading comprehension teacher. This position will administer and interpret Literacy assessments with grade level teacher teams to determine adequate progress and to identify students in need of Tier 2 or Tier 3 Literacy Intervention. The Literacy Interventionist will deliver focused, sequential and systematic Literacy instruction using research-based materials that align with the Common Core State Standards and district Tier 1 curriculum. Job Description This position is an anticipated vacancy. It is expected to be vacant by 03/30/2026. However, the current incumbent has a right to rescind their retirement, leave, or resignation up until the day of the expected vacancy date. Your hire will not be confirmed until the position is vacated, and you may start the year as a Long-Term Substitute if the position does not become vacant by the start of the school year. This position is a temporary vacancy covering for a paraprofessional on leave. The position is expected to end on 09/01/2026 when the current paraprofessional returns to work.
