Job Description POSITION PURPOSE The Automotive Technology Instructor will develop curriculum and provide instruction for the Technology Center Career & Technical Education (CTE) automotive classes. The class provides exploratory experiences in automotive maintenance & light repair and helps students become successful employees or business owners. The class emphasizes safety, procedures, equipment and tool use while preparing students to take the ASE Maintenance & Light Repair exam for certification. Both first- and second-year students can earn direct college credit. This position reports directly to the Director of the Technology Center with direction from the District Coordinator of Career and Technology Education.
