Job Description Supervisor of K-8 Mathematics and Science Instruction Non-union, at-will position POSITION SUMMARY The Supervisor of K-8 Mathematics and Science Instruction will serve as an instructional leader and coach, working directly with elementary (and middle school) teachers to improve instruction in mathematics and science. This position will spend significant time in K-8 classrooms providing demonstration lessons, coaching teachers in evidence-based instructional practices, and facilitating professional development aligned with Michigan Academic Standards, particularly the implementation of Michigan's Math Essentials program and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
