Job Description POSITION TITLE: Strategic Planning & Performance Specialist REPORTS TO: Program Director in Office of School and District Improvement at the Rhode Island Department of Education RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as lead to coordinate and implement the monitoring system for selected federal programs. This involves working directly with the Federal Programs Team and school and district leaders. Provide support mechanisms for LEAs that have recently been monitored to ensure they address monitoring findings and become compliant with federal requirements. Provide high-quality technical assistance and professional learning opportunities to LEAs in meeting federal program requirements to improve student outcomes.
