Job Description Employee Group: FSEA CLASSIFICATION: FSEA, II STATUS : School Year, Full Time (Hourly, Non-Exempt) REPORTS TO: Director of Food and Nutrition Services and Kitchen Leader Master Agreement FSEA Benefits Summary General Summary: The B Cook performs a variety of tasks in the preparation and cooking of food and helps with the production records, inventory, and ordering of food, and sanitation controls. Conforms to schedules established by Kitchen Leader. The B Cook reports to the building Kitchen Leader. Duties and Responsibilities: The B Cook performs the kitchen leader duties when kitchen leader is absent and if assigned by supervisor. Reads and interprets menus and recipes. Operates standard cooking equipment such as mixers, ranges, steamers, slicers, food choppers, etc. Assists in the preparation and cooking of food. Assists with production records, inventory, ordering of food and supplies and other paperwork and related duties....
