Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION : This position is responsible for assuring support for all trades in order to program, schedule and execute a maintenance program; procures materials and supplies, organizes, assigns, and supervises the work of work crews. REPORTS TO : Director, Maintenance SALARY SCHEDULE : 302 WORK DAYS : 250 REQUIREMENTS: Education Level: A GED or a standard high school diploma from a GaDOE-approved and accredited institution is required. Preferred: Technical or vocational courses in one or more trades Four or more years experience in a supervisory role in a medium or large maintenance operation (Applicants with eight or more years as a Mechanic I or five or more years as a Lead Mechanic in the district's Maintenance and Operations Department will be considered to have met this requirement.)
