Job Description We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Bus Dispatcher to join our transportation team. The School Bus Dispatcher serves as the central communication hub, managing daily transportation logistics for safe and efficient student transportation. Key Responsibilities: Routing & Scheduling : Develop and maintain efficient bus routes, assign drivers and substitute drivers, and coordinate special trips and extracurricular transportation needs. Real-Time Dispatching : Monitor bus routes in real time using radio equipment and GPS software to ensure on-time performance and promptly address delays, mechanical issues, traffic problems, or other disruptions. Communication Hub : Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, school administrators, drivers, and mechanics to resolve route concerns, safety issues, and student behavior matters.
