Job Description Title Code: Apprentice I: Operations JOB SUMMARY The three-year Apprenticeship Program gives motivated employees an opportunity for supervised on-the-job training in a wide variety of work including preventive maintenance, plumbing, electric, HVAC/controls, and general maintenance. The goal for this Program is to better prepare our employees for leadership roles within schools. As a grade 7, the Apprentice will participate in work assignment rotations every 4 months for a two-year period between Preventive Maintenance, Maintenance, and School-based facilities. The period of rotation and length of apprenticeship may be subject to change based on the needs of Operations. The third year of the Apprenticeship Program involves working closely with the Preventive Maintenance Office to provide support services throughout school facilities.
