The internship gives clinical teachers the opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher under the tutelage of an experienced Cooperating Teacher. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 1. Improve teaching through observation and dialogue with an experienced teacher to develop a skill set with a variety of methods, i.e., coaching, model teaching, monitoring, data focused dialogue. 2. Assist in the design, coordination, fidelity of implementation and evaluation of the campus instructional program. 3. Improve student achievement through the application of effective classroom practices and research based instructional strategies. 4. Assist in the review, revision, and implementation of the district curriculum. 5. Analyze formative and summative data to provide targeted instruction based on students' individual needs. 6.
