Job Description Lead Preschool Teacher Little Glad Early Childhood Center Position Summary The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 3-5. Under the direction of the Little Glad Early Childhood Principal, the Lead Teacher plans and implements a high-quality early childhood program that supports children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development while preparing them for kindergarten readiness. The Lead Teacher serves as the instructional leader of the classroom and is responsible for curriculum implementation, assessment of student progress, classroom management, and supervision of Program Assistants and volunteers.
