Job Description Title Code: Technician: Telecommunication Services JOB SUMMARY Performs daily work required to support the local and field offices for telephones and voice communications. Receives calls from end users of schools and offices for telephone system, wireless telephone, and voice line related issues. Helps schedule in-house, and contracted, installations and repair visits to the schools. Contacts vendors regularly to; report service problems, order new services, and to manage the accounts. Orders and pays for services, equipment, materials and supplies needed for the department ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Receives work request calls from school and office based employees. Creates work orders and forwards them to appropriate personnel. Performs department budget management, including billing, accounts payable/receivable.
