Job Description Speech, Language and Hearing Specialist - Position begins next school year 26-27. This is a permanent position. QUALIFICATIONS: Massachusetts certification in the field of Speech, Language and Hearing Handicapped. Bachelors' and/or Master's Degree in Speech, Language, Hearing and related fields. Experience in diagnosis and treatment of children with expressive disorders as they relate to total communication. Alternatives to the above qualifications may be found appropriate and acceptable to the Committee. This Committee shall consist of Administrators and existing Speech, Language and Hearing Specialists. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: To identify, diagnose and remediate speech, language and hearing difficulties within the Barnstable School System as required by Chapter 766.
