Job Description JOB TITLE: School Nurse - LPN IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Building Principal and School Nurse Coordinator GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The school nurse - LPN is responsible to develop, implement and manage a school health program for a student population as defined by the school district. Responsibilities include program management, nursing services, collaboration, health education, and professional practice. Provides health care services to students by performing assigned duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Plans school health program, in cooperation with medical authority and administrative school personnel. Participates in medical examinations and reviews findings to evaluate the health status of students and progress of the program.
