Job Description Dorchester County Public Schools is currently accepting applications for Special Education Teachers positions that may become available for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Working under the direction of the school principal and the Supervisor of Special Education, will provide direct instruction and instructional support to students with disabilities. The successful candidates will work in collaboration with the general education teachers and assist in the development of Individual Education Programs (IEP). This position also works with students in decision making, interpersonal development, and academic growth by providing the strategies, resources, and instruction to enable each student to meet the demands of the Maryland College and Career Readiness Standards.
