Job Description The Little Miami Local School District is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our Human Resources team as an Exempt Administrative Assistant focused on Benefits and Compliance. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director, this critical role maintains the district's operational integrity and ensures full adherence to state and federal standards, including COBRA and HIPAA. You will oversee district benefits, managing insurance open enrollment, data entry, and terminations for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, while providing expert administration of FMLA requests, medical certifications, and return-to-work coordination. Additionally, you will drive compliance efforts by managing public records, fulfilling requests, and maintaining essential personnel documentation, including background checks, I-9 authorizations, and regulatory paperwork for all staff, coaches, and volunteers.
