Job Description Special Education Teacher - Learning Support - North Brandywine Middle School The Coatesville Area School District is seeking an energetic, student-centered Special Education Teacher to teach learning support at Scott Middle School. Applicants should have a demonstrated capacity of teaching diverse learners. Applicants should be committed to the success of all students and should have an understanding of special education legislation, regulations and procedures. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum to meet all students' learning needs in order to ensure academic growth. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required. Valid PA Special Education PK-8 or Special Education PK-12 required. External Candidates will be required to provide mandatory clearances. This includes the Act 34 (State Criminal Clearance), Act 151 (Child Abuse) and Act 114 (FBI Clearance). All Clearances must be within 1 year.
