Job Description POSITION TITLE: AU Mentor/ Aide START DATE: September 23, 2026 IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Building Administrator FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt EMPLOYMENT TERM: 200 days annually HOURS: 8:30 am-3:30 pm SALARY: $30,660 - $44,950 Salary will be determined by using the Berkeley County Schools Service Personnel Salary Scale based on level of education and years of experience/certification plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation. JOB TYPE DESCRIPTION: A vacancy exists for an AU Mentor/ Aide. Applicant's primary duties will be with AU Students. SUMMARY : Assist teachers in the classroom with daily instructional and non-instructional activities. The successful applicant will provide support and assistance in the areas of behavior management, communication, daily living, self-help, academic, career/vocational and recreation/leisure skills.
