Job Description JOB GOALS: 1. Oversee and implement the Special Education evaluation process for all students at the assigned school location. 2. Chairing of Special Education initial and re-evaluation meetings as well as other meetings as assigned. 3. To provide counseling services in accordance with assigned students IEP's. 4. To provide the appropriate support, information, and assistance to staff and parents necessary to promote successful student learning, growth, and personal and social adjustment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: TESTING AND STUDENT ASSESSMENT 1. Development, oversight, and evaluation of students at assigned school location. 2. Interprets the results and significance of test results to students, parents, and staff as required. 3. Administers special tests and/or assessment instruments to individual students as needed for diagnostic or planning purposes. 4.
