Job Description Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Reports to: Principal and Director of Exceptional Student Services Contract: 200 Days Salary Scale: Teacher FLSA Status: Exempt Revised: 9/2010, 1/2021, 4/2023 PRIMARY FUNCTION: identification and remediation of student's communication skills. QUALIFICATIONS: Possesses or qualifies for licensure with the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Preferred - Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Proficiency in assessing students' communication skills and ability to interpret test results meaningfully. Ability to design, implement and evaluate a comprehensive program appropriate to the educational needs of the communicatively impaired student.
