Job Description Position Title: Food Service Assistant #14 Location: Howell High School (9-12) Reports To: Kitchen Manager, Food Service Director and/or Principal/Assistant Principal Status: Ten (10) month position Work Hours and Schedule: 3.75 Hours/Day (9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.) First day of school for students - Last day of school for students FLSA Status: Non-exempt SUMMARY : The Food Service Assistant provides support in our student nutrition program by assisting the Kitchen Manager and the Food Service Supervisor in the overall management and organization of the food service program all while providing excellent customer service to staff, students and families. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Place fresh baked cookies in individual bags. Pan up cookies for the next day and place on a speedy rack and cover. Once finished, put the cookie rack back into the freezer.
