Job Description TITLE: SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: As per the current Midland City Education Association (MCEA) Agreement (salary protection available). POSITION SUMMARY The School Social Worker helps to support the emotional, social and academic well-being of students. They provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with a variety of personal issues and help them develop coping skills to manage these challenges. They work with teachers, parents and administrators to develop individualized plans that help students succeed in school. The school social worker is integral to creating a safe and supportive school environment, helping students succeed academically along with developing the emotional and social skills needed to thrive in life.
