Job Description JOB TITLE: School Nutrition Shift Manager IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of School Nutrition Programs and School Nutrition Lead Manager GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Performs difficult semiskilled and responsible administrative work participating in and supervising food service activities in a school cafeteria; does related work as required. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Lead Manager, and building principal. Supervision is exercised over school nutrition workers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Plans, coordinates, assigns, oversees and participates as required in the preparation, cooking and serving of food. Prepares and maintains necessary records.
