Job Description POSITION: School Psychologist LOCATION: CIA/Exceptional Children SALARY: State Salary Schedule TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Months REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Exceptional Children Programs QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES: Degree or higher in school psychology from an accredited college/university. Good knowledge of educational guidelines. RESPONSIBILITIES: Identifies and assesses the learning, development, and adjustment characteristics and needs of individuals and groups, as well as the environmental factors that affect learning and adjustment. Uses assessment data about the student and his/her environment(s) in developing appropriate interventions and programs. Conducts assessments of students.
