Job Description Maintenance Staff SUMMARY: To help maintain the physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational, athletic and community use of it may be made at all times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately orders and accounts for material and labor relative to assigned work orders. Maintains all safety and code requirements of the State, local and Board of Education. Performs general maintenance work inside the facilities of MSAD #6. Performs general labor outside the physical plant including handling materials and supplies, moving equipment, operating power-driven equipment and truck driving. Performs district wide groundskeeping maintenance work such as mowing, plowing, salting, field marking and other maintenance.
