DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS : This position exists in various department in City Hall, the Utica City School District and the Municipal Housing Authority and involves the responsibility of independently performing routine clerical work and assisting in performing more difficult and responsible clerical work. An understanding of office rules, procedures and policies is required. The incumbent works under direct supervision on routine assignments, which are done in accordance with defined procedures.
