Job Description Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work, Educational Counseling, Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university. Previous counseling experience, preferably with adolescents. Skills necessary to provide individual/group counseling including: focus on significant teen social issues, ability to conduct individual/group assessment, knowledge required to provide information/resources to assist students in career planning, ability to consult with staff and outside professionals in educational, psychiatric, counseling, court, and other settings, ability to work with diverse populations, supervision skills, adherence to ethical/legal issues in counseling, ability to conduct research/evaluation, and knowledge of technology to assist individuals with scheduling and career planning. Certified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a School Adjustment Counselor. Certified or Certifiable by the DESE as Guidance Counselor....
