Job Description SUMMARY: Instructs students in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth and skills that will contribute to their development as able and responsible citizens. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Teaches district approved curriculum to students in a K-12 Classroom setting. Creates a classroom environment that is student centered and developmentally appropriate. Progress monitors student competency in all subject areas through the development of formative and summative assessments. Advises parents and/or legal guardians of student progress and keeps them informed on ways to reinforce progress in the home.
