Job Description Overview: Conduct individual or intervention-based evaluations to assist school staff and parents in effectively meeting the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of children; consult with educational staff to develop individualized learning or behavioral plans for students. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assessment & Identification Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and interpret findings for parents, teachers, and community agencies via written reports and conferences. Screening Services: Provide initial screening services to identify student needs. Placement Leadership: Lead the identification and placement process for Special Education, Gifted Programming, and Early Kindergarten Entrance. Case Management: Serve as Case Manager during the assessment phase, including coordinating Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs).
