Job Description Summary: The Behavioral Technician is a paraprofessional who practices under ongoing supervision of the special education department. The Behavioral Technician is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of student-specific behavior management/support services. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Some experience in working with children - required. Minimum of sixty (60) credit hours from an accredited post-secondary institution or career technical facility; or an Associate's Degree; or successfully completed the ParaPro Assessment. Behavioral training, not limited to certification as a Registered Behavior Technician, is preferred. Bilingual skills are preferred.
