Job Description JOB GOALS: To instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and academic growth by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Plan and organize instruction to achieve general and course proficiencies. Provide effective instruction using a variety of strategies, which bring about desired student proficiencies. Assess student progress, maintain records and communicate ongoing student progress. Organize and manage the classroom environment to maximize learning. Demonstrate effective communication skills with students, parents, and community. Demonstrate effective people skills.
