Job Description Job Title : School Nutrition Worker Terms of Employment : 180 Days Pay Grade: 104 Job Summary: The purpose of this job is to prepare and serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an efficient, clean and friendly environment. Operates cafeteria register. Essential Duties Operates the register and receives money to put on the students' accounts. Sets up the display of extra items for sale each morning. Assists in cooking, setting up and serving food items to students and staff. Follows all established state and federal regulations and complies with all established school nutrition and school board policies. Operates a variety of kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, slicers, steamers, dishwashers. Follows all established HACCP Guidelines and Procedures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive county car to and from Roanoke daily. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Car drivers must have a valid Virginia Drivers License with a good driving record.
