Job Description Job Title: General Maintenance Department: Building and Grounds Status: Summer Temporary Summary: To maintain the grounds throughout the Portage Township School District. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance of building interiors, exteriors, and grounds. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment and tools as needed. Conduct general repairs, including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work. Maintain exterior areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaped spaces. Perform seasonal grounds maintenance, such as mowing, trimming, pruning, snow removal, and salting. Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, tractors, trimmers, and hand tools.
