Job Description Kurn Hattin Home and School is a residential school for children ages 5 through 15 located in Westminster, Vermont on three hundred beautiful acres. We are looking for someone to join our team of caring professionals to administer medications and to work collaboratively with all members of the child services team to support our children and their families. You will play a key role in providing care and health counseling to the children and staff on health issues that could interfere with residential living or effective learning. Job Description Under the direction of the Mental Health and Disabilities Coordinator, the Behavioral Interventionist provides behavioral support, intervention and case management to clients in order to facilitate their positive adjustment to the classroom expectations, and to strengthen the connection between home, school and the community. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect and document information necessary to perform Functional Behavior Assessments on students with complex behavioral challenges.
